Blog Blitz! Day One…featuring Oceana Corner

Welcome to Day One of the Memory Blog Blog Blitz!  The Design Team is so happy to share with you  the latest from Memory Box and Open Studio–dies, stencils, AND stamps!  Be sure to check the blog Monday through Friday this week for twice-daily postings.  There is soooo much to show you!!!  And remember to leave comments on each post for the chance to win some of the newest products!  You will have until Sunday, April 19 at 11:59 PM EST to leave comments.  Winners will be announced on the Outside the Box blog On Monday, April 20.

For my card, I'm thinking about school vacation coming up next week and the numbers of Mainers who will head south to warmer climes to soak up some sun.  

 

Memory Box materials used:


 NEW Sprinkle Dots stencil 88597 in Hero Arts Cornflower Blue ink on a white notecard, both on the front and on the inside

NEW Oceana Corner die 99144 cut from bright green textured cardstock

Seaside Treasures die 99107 (from January release) cut from bright green textured cardstock

NEW Well Planned clear stamps CL5155, "VACATION" and "relax" stamped in Hero Arts Cornflower Blue ink 


This will also be the perfect card to give to someone vacationing along the Maine coast this summer, not that they'll find seahorses this far north–but there will be plenty of fish, shells, starfish, and sand dollars!

  23. Okay, I have started my wish list, Oceana Corner, Sprinkle Stencil and … Already own the Seaside Treasures or I would need them too. LOL Very cool card.

  24. Oceana Corner looks great with the other ocean themed stamps and dies you used…even if you don’t find seahorses as far north as you are, they are such beautiful creatures I would include them too!

  74. I absolutely love the marine life theme of this card. It is great for summer and those scrapbook pages to the beach or aquarium. Really glad to see the addition of the clear stamps.

  75. This die will be great in depicting water themes. I live on the western coast where water activities and sports are available during the entire year.

    Your card has us all thinking of Summer! The Oceana corner die cut will give a lot of dimension to stamped images of shells, fish, beach scenes…the possibilities are almost as endless as long summer days.

    Great card. Love the Oceana Corner, wish it had been released sooner…just made an ocean themed birthday card for my niece using an electronic cutter, but dies are so much easier, and quicker to use. Can’t wait to see the rest of the goodies.
