Hi Friends!
Today I’m sharing a wintery card featuring the beautiful Pinecone and Greenery die. Maybe I’m just trying to influence our weather into turning cooler—we’re baking here! If I keep making wintery cards it will work–right?
I always seem to have favorites when Memory Box has a new release and I think I combined them all on this card. Topping my list is the Beaded Background, Pinecone and Greenery and the always needed, Stitched Rectangle layers.

Here’s a close up view of the glittered Pine Needle Twigs cut from various shades of green paper. I cut down a few of the twigs and added the pieces to make a fuller bough. I also die cut the pinecone in brown paper and overlaid it in place.

My red pearl embellishments weren’t the “right” red so I tinted them darker with a brown Copic marker–alcohol ink based markers will be permanent.
On the inside of the card I added a sentiment (note that Stitched Rectangle Layer die on the kraft paper–love it!) and the beautiful Berry Vine Border with more tinted pearls.

I think the Beaded Background die cut in Kraft paper layered over a cream notecard looks like snow falling–yes! I think it’s cooling off already…
Thanks for stopping by today, Happy Friday!

I love your earthy card and I, too, have favorites that I go to time and again when creating cards. I really like the added elements to the inside of your card….nice touch.
