Here Comes Santa Paws!
by Anne Thompson

MATERIALS USED:

  • White Notecard
  • CL5162 Santa Paws Clear Stamp Set
  • 32162 Santa Paws Die Set
  • 99194 Tilted Frames Die cut three times from black cardstock
  • 30056 Stitched Bows Die (the smallest one, cut from Cranberry Distressed Dots Paper))
  • MementoLuxe Tuxedo Black Ink; Distress Ink Forest Moss; Hero Arts Cornflower Blue Ink
  • Prismacolor Pencils
  • 1 pearl and 1 sparkly red gem
  • glue pen; mini-glue dots. jumbo dauber; popdots

I've had the Tilted Frames Die for awhile and didn't know what to do with it until I saw the newest clear stamp sets.  The Santa Paws clear stamps were just right for highlighting each of the images  stamped inside one of the frames or stamped, colored, and then die-cut using the coordinating Santa Paws Die Set before pop-dotting into the frames!

This is the cutest little dog!  I picture him going to each of the frames and picking out the antlers and the Santa hat for his head, adding the bow and holly around his neck, and maybe choosing the bone and dish to put under his own special tree.

This is a special card to send to a dog-loving friend.  I think I'll make some more for our animal shelter fund-raiser at the end of the month.

Happy Crafting!
