Let’s Celebrate!
by Anne Thompson

Let's celebrate!  It's the New Year, there's a new release from Memory Box, and it's Blog Blitz Week!!!

There are so many wonderful dies and stamps and stamps/dies combinations in this release.  It was hard to choose what to feature in this post, my first in 2016!  I figured because I'm celebrating (and encouraging all of you to celebrate with all of us on the Design Team all week long) that the new STITCHED CELEBRATE CIRCLE FRAME die no. 99320 had to be the featured element used along with STARLIT BREEZE die no. 99398.

I started with a piece of red cardstock cut and scored to A2 size.  I die cut STARLIT BREEZE into the front of the card.  Using white cardstock, I die cut the STITCHED CELEBRATE CIRCLE FRAME (several times because I'll make a bunch of cards), glued one of them to the card front and popped on three white stars.  Then I added a piece of white cardstock on the inside of the card and glued on all the star pieces that were cut from the red card up in the righthand corner.

This is the perfect card for celebrating the New Year!  I made several of these and added die cut numbers for 2016 glued in the upper right before mailing them.

What I love about STARLIT BREEZE is the way I can change its orientation for different looks and to incorporate other die cut elements.  In this second card, I used pieces of a key lime notecard for the STARLIT BREEZE front panel over a white notecard and for the STITCHED CELEBRATE CIRCLE FRAME  that I placed inside the card.  To use this as a birthday card, I added LET THEM EAT CAKE die no. 99331 cut from both white cardstock and key lime distressed dot paper.  I made the plate using punches and colored the candle flames with a Tombow marker.

And one last card for good measure–a kraft notecard die cut with STARLIT BREEZE and backed with shiny gold cardstock and more of the gold cardstock for the STITCHED CELEBRATE CIRCLE FRAME added to the front.

I LOVE to read your comments, so please leave some for me!  One of you lucky people will win your very own STITCHED CELEBRATE CIRCLE FRAME die!!!  You have until Sunday, January 10th at 11:59 EST to enter.  One comment will be chosen at random to win the die.  Winners this week will be announced on the Outside the Box blog on Tuesday, January 12.  Good luck!  Be sure to check this blog twice a day all week for inspiration featuring the newest products from Memory Box!!!

Happy Crafting!
