Good morning Memory Box fans. I hope you enjoyed yesterday's beautiful creations from Laura and Anne and got a glimpse of the gorgeous new dies. Welcome to day 2 of the blitz, and I'm kickin' it off this morning with some butterflies.
What better way to start off a winter day in January than to see some butterflies. The main die is called Marielle Butterflies, and I used my MINC to foil it with Rose Gold foil. The smaller butterflies, also foiled with the MINC, are called Mini Butterflies. The background uses the Distress grid stencil which was used dry and heat embossed the panel for some extra texture to the design.
Here you can see the foil's actual color and not distorted from the angle of the picture. The background colors were sponged in with various Distress Inks using a damp foam applicator. The die Paintbrush Happy (love me some word dies) was sponged with the same Distress Ink colors just more intense.
