March is just around the corner, and with it will come Spring! I can't wait! For my card today, I brought out every aspect of Spring I could.
I started with a piece of white card stock, and using the Rylan Butterfly Stem, die cut it on the left hand side. I the took my Copic Markers, and colored the butterflies, as well as the stem. Taking a piece of thin card stock, I attached double sided adhesive, and placed it on the backside of the die cut panel. I then inlaid the frame, along with the colored butterflies.
I then poured glitter over the open areas, and stamped my sentiment, from the Thoughtful Bunny set, in black ink. Before I adhered it to my card base, I ran the edges along my Versamark pad, and heat embossed a shimmery yellow embossing powder.
I then took a piece of foam, glued it to the back of my panel, and added that to my card base. I finished it off with a few black pearls.

Love this only found this blog a couple of days ago and am amazed at how versatile dies are, I am looking to buy some from a retailer in the UK but all the ones I have fallen for seem to be out of stock but I keep trying. lovely card and how you reinlaid the die give such a different look thank you.

Hi Gina! I personally use a metal shim that I put under my cutting pad. It is made specifically for adding extra pressure. If that isn’t enough, I add a few sheets of typing paper! I hope that helps!
