Happy Easter
by Donna

Hello everyone!

Today, I have another Easter card for you, which features two of my favorite products, Springtime Bunnies stamp set and the Grosgrain Ribbons die set.

To create the card paint the background with watercolors.  While the paint is still wet, press the Zippy Dots stencil on top of the painted area.  Hold the stencil in place for a minute and then press down with a paper towel.  Pick up the stencil and you are left with a subtle texture in your painted area.  Air dry or use a heat tool to speed up the drying process.  Spatter the background with gold ink.

Die cut the Grosgrain Ribbons and two Stitched Octagon Layers from watercolor paper.  Stamp the Easter Basket on the smaller stitched octagon and color as desired. Use a Gold Krylon Pen to add color to the edge of the large octagon die cut.

To finish the card, glue  the Grosgrain Ribbon die cuts to the left side of the card.  Adhere the stamped image to the larger octagon die cut using foam adhesive and glue to the card front.  Stamp Happy Easter under the octagon layers.  Add a few sequins and you're done!

Thanks for stopping by today!
