A trio of Springtime Bunnies – cut from flowered washi tape – is the perfect excuse for adding another roll of washi tape to your stash! It's also a quick and easy way to design another inspiration card for our March Blossoms and Bunnies Challenge.
Hi there, Jean Okimoto here, having one of my rare washi tape moments. Unbelievably, I don't have a stash of these versatile tapes – I just bought this one at Impress and couldn't wait to use it.
Attach several strips of tape to white cardstock. Diecut the Springtime Bunnies trio from black cardstock and save everything. Use the negative as a template to determine where to place the die.
Snuggle and tape the die back into the negative and diecut the bunnies - exactly where you want them – with the negative intact. It's a lot easier and more accurate than trying to secure the die while removing the negative.
Attach the black diecuts (slightly offset) behind the tape bunnies to create a sliver of a shadow for a bit of dimension.
Cut the 4" Stitched Oval Layer from yellow-green cardstock. Cut Pasture Grass from green cardstock, then trim a section of it with the oval.
Cut two of the Grosgrain Ribbons from a slightly darker shade of yellow-green cardstock - run them through the machine lengthwise for more texture. For even more texture keep the ribbons in the dies, then dry-emboss them with embossing plates and rubber mats – follow your machine manufacturer's directions for embossing with thin metal dies.
Attach everything to a side-folded A-2 card of textured white cardstock – use foam dots for the oval. Attach just the centers of the ribbons and let the ends "float" for dimension. Attach orange and chartreuse sequins.

Thank you Julye! No washi tape? Use a bit of scrapbooking paper, or stamp a tiny print and use that instead.
