Here are some card designs that feature the CATTAIL LANDSCAPE die no. 99456. This die is a great one to use as a focal image on cards for guys.
I turned this one into a birthday card by using the STITCHED HAPPY BIRTHDAY RECTANGLE die no. 99379 cut from metallic gold cardstock. For this card I used one of my watercolor backgrounds layered on a pale beige notecard, punched a partial circle from another watercolored piece for a sun, and framed that with the Stitched Happy Birthday Rectangle before adding the Cattail Landscape cut from a textured dark brown cardstock.
Next, I experimented with layers of the Cattail Landscape cut from a variety of cardstock colors. By staggering them and varying the heights of the cattail bases I got a very nice dimensional scene against a pale blue-green notecard base using just that one die.

I finished this card by adding some birds from the BIRDS OF A FEATHER Studio Die Set no. 30045.

This card is also posted as a sample in the Memory Box Challenge #12 for the month of May: For the Birds. Have you participated in one of our challenges before? This month's theme offers lots of possibilities. You should create something and post it to the Challenge!
I want to try die cutting multiple Cattail Landscapes using a variety of printed papers and then again using some of my watercolored papers. I think that both kinds of papers will make some really interesting Cattail Landscapes!
Happy Crafting!
