Harvest Thank You
by Lindsay

 Hello!

I am so glad you could join me today! Are you enjoying the new release projects as much as I am? I just love the new holiday stamps, dies, and stencils, and this one is no exception. Though I am nowhere near ready for Christmas or snow for that matter, I was able to get myself in the spirit of fall. Here is a look at some of the products that I used for this card.

Bristol Smooth Card Stock is a nice soft paper, when used with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, blends the color like butter. 1

To start, I ran the Harvest Pumpkin Oval die through my die cut machine twice. Once with black card stock, and again with the Bristol. I then painted the pumpkin, and trimmed it out. I set both aside to work on the card base.

I used a few Distress Inks to create a gradient background, to which I flicked on some water that reacted with the ink, and pulled the color up by laying a cloth on top of it. I allowed it to dry, and then stamped a simple sentiment from the Veggie Good Set.

I used the other portion from my die cut to add blue ink to the edges, and adhered all of my pieces to my inked card base.

Are you interested in a chance to win the Harvest Pumpkin Oval Die? Just leave a comment, and it could be you! Thanks so much for stopping by!
