We are absolutely thrilled to start sharing the new 2016 Holiday Release with you. There are lots of new stamps, stencils and dies that we hope will inspire you for Fall and Winter cardmaking. The video above is a quick slideshow to kick of this week’s blog blitz. If you can’t view the embedded video, you can also view it directly on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/V1ingy88N4E The blitz will run from Tuesday, July 6th till Sunday, July 10th with 2 posts a day. As always, there will be chances to win prizes!

As I mentioned before, my most popular card class each year is my 10 in 10 Christmas card class. People seem to like card ideas that allow you to create a large number of cards in a short amount of time. The card above fits into this category. The three windows and snowflakes are all created from one die called Snowflake Spectacle.
To make the card, I placed the die onto white cardstock and cut out the windows/snowflakes. I placed a piece of double-sided adhesive behind the window (I used Elizabeth Crafts adhesive sheets) and sprinkled the whole thing with blue glitter. I added some blue metallic paper behind the white cardstock to make the glitter “pop” even more. To finish the card, I added some rhinestones to the centers of the snowflakes.
Here is a close-up of the glitter and the die:

If you need to make more than 20 holiday cards, then this is a good design to use. You can change up the colors and switch to red/green or silver/gold depending on your preferences.
Want to win the new Snowflake Spectacle die? Watch the video above and leave a comment on this post listing your favorite new die featured in the video. You have until 11:59 EST on Sunday, July 10th to enter. Good luck! Don’t forget that each designer blog post during the blitz will have a chance to win a prize, so check back often.

I love the Crystal Snowflake Corner die! It’s perfect for giving the idea of falling snow with plenty of room for sentiments or other stuff! Thanks for the chance to win Snowflake Spectacle!
Oh Gosh! Just stunning! And I am in love with these dashing Holiday release! There are so many to choose and my fave are snowflake trio and pine tree with cute deer!
Beautiful card! And my favorite die in the video is the Country Church 🙂
I really like your card and the die you used. From the video the Emerson ornament die and overlay jumped out at me.
First, it really is cruel to make us pick just one die, I mean, REALLY! That said, I did fall madly in love with the darling felt reindeer die. Felt ornaments are one of my favorite gifts to make, and your dies really make it possible to make many more than what could be done hand cutting, and carefully placing the stitches. The hedgehogs are adorable too, but you can’t beat reindeer for Christmas cache.
Dave, you are a designing powerhouse. To have such beautiful designs to incorporate into card making (and tags, and ornaments, and etc.) is such a treat. You truly are the king of the flawless silhouette. Thank you for all the hours of pleasure you have brought to my creative life!
Love your card and that beautiful glittery blue background! The snowflake spectacle is my fave.
It’s the middle of summer, but the way time flies we’ll be seeing real snowflakes before you know it! Thanks for the chance to win the Snowflake Spectacular die.
I bought this die today, and you are right, this is a great one for doing a number of cards quickly and the result is quite beautiful!
