Pumpkin Patch Thank You

Hi everyone! Sherry here to start your weekend off with an autumn card. I’m sure ready for Fall, aren’t you?

I inked the Drifting Oak Leaves background stamp with Peeled Paint Distress Ink, stamped off once and then onto a 5.25” x 4” piece of white card stock, sponging Peeled Paint around the edges. The pumpkin from the Harvest Pumpkin Oval Frame die was used to create this card, cutting two from orange card stock and another from white card stock. I shaded the orange pumpkins with Dried Marigold and Rusty Hinges Distress Inks, colored the stem with Frayed Burlap, and the curly cue with Forest Moss.

I cut the leaves from the Juicy Grapes die from white card stock, then inked them up with Peeled Paint, and shaded with Dusty Concord. I cut two of the Grape Vine Border in brown card stock and darkened them with Frayed Burlap. These pieces were glued to the bottom of the background piece.

I arranged the pumpkins and leaves as shown, popping up one of the pumpkins with foam tape. I cut the curly cue from the Juicy Grapes set and added it at the top. I also removed a curly cue from one of the pumpkins and added it as well.

I decided to add one of the small birds from the Birds of a Feather set. The sentiment is from the Hope and Thanks clear stamp set, and a few shiny sequins were added to finish the piece, which was then added to the card base with foam tape.
