Good morning everyone!
We are offically into the month of September, which means it's time for fall! To celebrate the season I have put together a fun and easy autumn card.
I wanted to create a background with leaves but I didn't have any leaf stamps large enough, so instead I used the leaf stencil to create the background. I traced the leaves in a random pattern using a fine-tipped Sharpie pen.
The photo above shows how the background looks after the leaves are traced onto the card background, and the photo below shows how the background looks once the vein lines are added to the leaves.
Loosely watercolor the leaves and the background. Stamp, watercolor and die cut the pumpkin. Emboss the sentiment on vellumn cardstock and emboss using gold embossing powder. Use foam adhesive to adhere the pumpkin to the vellum. Glue the vellum piece to the card front with foam adhesive behind the pumpkin. Glue the prepared card front to a white card base.
