Hi friends. Penny here today and I am in full swing with making Holiday cards. I do send out quite a few, but then my grown children come around asking if I have any extras….that of course is when I fall to the floor laughing! Does your family do this also? Look at all the money I have saved them in the past few years, as they no longer have to buy cards…for any occasion!
Let's get to it:
Start with a White cardstock base trimmed to 4.25 x 11 inches, then folded in half. Trim a Red cardstock panel 4.25 x 5.50 inches, die cut the left side with Snowdrift Breeze (don't you just love that name?)
Cut a small panel of White cardstock about 2.50 x 5.50 inches. Mix a bit of Memento Luxe Love Letter ink with some Whipped Spackle on a craft mat.
Using the Holly Bough stencil, apply mixture until happy with the results. Let dry!
Add a small strip of striped paper to the left side of stenciled panel. Stamp sentiment from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set onto Vellum using StazOn inks. Tear Vellum above and below sentiment, wrap around panel and tape in back to secure.
Adhere the stenciled/stamped panel to card base as shown.
Add a few Glossy White Crystal drops for interest.
This is probably your first time seeing Red Holly, but that is what is so fun about art…make it your own!

I have starlit breeze and the flower breeze too and now the snowdrift breeze is on my list just got to find it and pay for it but theres still plenty of time yet and yes my son does put his orders for cards in on a regular basis as does my mum but mum does pay for them so that gives me a little more to spend on my die collection, thanks for sharing and love the red holly.
Great looking card, Penny! I had to chuckle to myself too about your kids asking for extra cards. My Mum does that….lol! She always want to pay for them but how can I charge my own mother?! She’s done so much for me through the years and I could never repay her. Plus she keeps telling me what wonderful cards I create and I like hearing it. She knows how to butter me up…lol!
