Good morning!! I'm just loving the new release and spent some time playing around with the word dies.

I wanted to create a Christmas card that I could easily make multiples of without being laden with ink or paint techniques. I went with a simple inlaid technique using the word die Peace. I cut the word peace in the blue cardstock multiple times creating the "negative" in the blue. I cut the Peace die again this time using silver cardstock and kept the "positive". I laid the silver "positive" Peace in the "negative" blue card stock, turned the cardstock over and taped the words on the backside.

I cut the die Joy Snowflake from self adhesive glitter fun foam (found at Michael's) and adhered to the blue/silver cardstock. The "snow" was created using embossing powder and heated/melted from the backside so as not blow the embossing powder everywhere!
Thanks for swinging by for a visit today!
