Hello!
Today I have a colorful snowy card to share with you using some fabulous dies from the 2016 Holiday release! My mind doesn't want to embrace the snow right now, but on a card? I think I might be able to handle it. Let's see what I did, shall we?
I first die cut the Frostyville Snowburst die twice, with white card stock. I set that aside, and worked on inking my card base with shades of yellow, orange, and pink.
I then did a bit of trimming, and adhered both die cuts to the top, and bottom portion of the card. I then took a bit of sparkle embossing powder, and some Versamark ink (a clear sticky ink) and made my own sparkly paper. From that, I die cut snowflakes from the Snowdrift Breeze die, as well as the word Peace from the Peace Love and Joy Tiles die.
I also ran the Peace die through with foam, and adhered the glittered letters to them. I then popped them out, and adhered the words to the card front.
Running the die through fun foam is a really easy way to get dimension without having to stack individual tiny letters with liquid glue! I hope you give it a try on your next project.
