Fawn'd Friends – Impress' exclusive Memory Box die – takes great advantage of a Pool Notecard for a wintery scene. Hi, Jean Okimoto here, with another design featuring a very special holiday die. I love how simply refolding Memory Box notecards inside-out creates the perfect backdrop for winter designs.

Cut Fawn'd Friends on the white side of a Pool Notecard. Mask the adjacent areas and daub Imagine Crafts Celestial Copper Delicata over the deer. Gently heat-set the shimmery ink.
Cut Snow Burst from silver glittered cardstock.
Attach Scor-Tape behind red mirror cardstock and cut the circle design from the Distressed Baptisia Collage die set.
Cut Sketchbook Joy from an extra Pool Notecard – leave it in the die. Remove the unnecessary pieces inside the "loops." Place dots of glue on the backside of the greeting, then flip the whole thing over and use a piercing tool to push it out of the die and onto the card. That's a lot easier than trying to wiggle it – and the tiny dot – into place!
Attach the snowflakes and red dots.
Diecutting the design high on the card leaves ample space to stamp a festive greeting and sign your name on the inside.

Special thanks to everyone from last weekend's Asian Holiday Cards class at Impress. Hope you liked the designs – and enjoy the beautiful silkscreened papers you selected for your 2016 Christmas cards. Memory Box and Poppystamps dies are great for cutting through the layers of ink and fibers on silkscreened artpapers and make it ever so easy to create simple, classic cards for everyone on your list.
Thanks for stopping by – hope you like today's card. See you again this evening!
