a Dazzling Dragonfly
by Penny Ward

Hello and welcome to the Memory Box blog. We recently revealed all the new dies and stamps for the Spring crafting season and I just can't get enough of this adorable Dazzling Dragonfly.

Assuming you read this blog daily, you already know I am loving the Lindy's Magicals you use with watercolor paper.  Sprinkle, spritz and let dry before selecting placement of your diecut. No two Dragonflies (or any other die cut for that matter) will ever be the same.

The card front is actually a pale Gray with a bit of faux stitching down the side.

Die cut Dazzling Dragonfly and Tall Poppy Right Corner from prepared watercolor paper.

Stamp sentiment from the Hope and Thanks set by PoppyStamps onto Olive cardstock, tear top portion and adhere all elements to card front as shown.

Finish card with sequins for added interest.

Happy crafting…until next time,

  1. Love the shimmer; kinda like shimmer sheetz. I’m unfamiliar with the product you mentioned (Mindy’s magicals) and am guessing it’s what gives the iridescent effect. You mentioned “sprinkling” it; Is it flakes? Powder? Works on wc paper? Intriguing!
Would you share the info on it?

  2. I think she meant Lindy’s Magicals, she used it again on a post some while back. ‘Sprinkle on a little Lindy’s Magicals Time Travel Teal and Ponderosa Pines Olive. Spritz with water and let dry (or for those like me who can’t wait…dry with a heat gun).’

  3. So simple yet so beautiful. Looking at his just gave me the most tranquil feeling. Thank you! 🙂
