Let the new Heart Wire be more than "just" a Valentine design – it's perfect for friendship cards too! Hi, Jean Okimoto here, sharing another idea featuring this great new die – and a chance for you to win just for commenting on this post.
Cut Heart Wire from glittered pink craft foam – leave it in the die.

Wondering why the new Magnificient Mum Floral Blooms are shown here? Has she gone completely over the edge? Not yet - but I thought it was a great way to diecut a bunch of tiny random double-stick shapes from Scor-Tape to attach the Heart Wire. Save the adhesive-covered mum outlines too – we'll use them later. We save everything, don't we?
The Memory Box collection of dies has many, many designs that you can use to diecut adhesive pieces for your projects. I chose the mums here because I wanted to use the outlines for another project.
Attach the sticky pieces to the hearts – and the ends.

Use the 3-¾" x 5" Rectangle Basics die to cut white cardstock. This is another great new set of 16 dies designed to create the perfect rectangles for layering on A-2 and other cards. Stamp the greeting – from the new So Many Things to Love set – with Imagine Crafts Celestial Copper Delicata. Heat-set the ink. Use a piercing tool to lightly press the adhesive-covered hearts (liners removed!) onto the rectangle. Remove the die and press the hearts firmly onto the background.
Wrap the two ends loosely around the edges like a heart-hug. Attach the rectangle to a side-folded A-2 card of textured white cardstock. Add tiny clear iridescent sequins.
Want to a chance to win the Heart Wire die? Just add your comment here and you'll have a chance to add this great new design to your personal Memory Box collection. Comment on all of our Detail Team posts during the Blog Blitz from January 2 through the 8th for many more chances to win the products our designers have chosen for you. The entry deadline is 11:59 PM EST on January 8th.
See you at the NEW FROM MEMORY BOX class at Impress on Saturday afternoon. There are so many great new Memory Box and Poppystamps designs to chose from – I've narrowed it down to my very favorites for the 6 cards we'll be making.
Thanks for stopping by!
