Hello!
I hope you are having a great week so far! I have a fun card to share with you, using some of the latest release. It's all love, and hearts, along with flowers, too! I always look forward to the Valentine's Releases, because there are so many fabulous heart designs! For my card today, I chose the Heart Wave die, using the inlaid die cut technique.

You know I am a fan of techniques, and the inlaid is one of my favorites. I am being totally honest when I say, it took awhile. So, if you have plenty of time, this is for you! To begin, I created a side fold note card with white card stock, and ran the Heart Wave die across the front. I then die cut different colors of pinks, and reds, and saved the hearts. I also cut gold card stock, and saved the outline image, along with several hearts.

Once my pieces were cut, I placed a piece of paper behind the open area on my card base, covering it with adhesive. I then laid the gold outline in, along with my colored hearts. Once all of the pieces were inserted, I stamped a sentiment from the new So Many Things To Love stamp set.

Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you give this technique a try on your next project! Have a great day!

Beautiful card, time well spent!
Lovely CAS card. (Well, I don’t know about the simple. That’s a lot of little hearts to find homes for.) 🙂
Beautiful card, Lindsay! Just love it!!
Goodness, you must have the patience of a saint! I love the result but think I’ll start with something simpler.
Sooooo Pretty!!! I Love how colorful it is!!!
WOW Lindsay, your card is beautiful. This is just the type of card I would tackle. LOL It seems I always want to try something that is time consuming!
I really like your card a lot, Lindsay! I use the clean and simple style of design frequently. I am definitely putting the Heart Wave die on my wishlist.
What a great die and a totally fun card thanks for sharing.
