Happy Tuesday, everyone! I have a truly easy card for you today!
I die cut one of the hearts from the Cherub Hearts, laying it at an angle over the edge before cutting on a white 4.25" x 5.5" card stock. I then embossed this piece with a folder from my stash. I put lots of foam tape on the back to pop it up from the pink card base.
I cut three of the Sketch Floral from white card stock and two of just the flower from the pink card stock. Using a spray adhesive, I layered the three white flowers on top of each other. I adhered one of the pink flowers on top of the white, and one behind the flower, which gave the flower a lot of fullness. I tied a length of very narrow ribbon around the stem, and then adhered the assembled flower over the heart as shown. I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Things to Love clear set using a dark brown ink.
I added some pink pearls to finish off the card. I have to comment on the pink card stock. I was a bit disappointed with how the camera did not quite capture the pretty pink color in the first and third photos … it came out looking more peach than pink. The middle sample is closer to the actual color, but still not exactly. Hopefully you'll enjoy the overall design and forgive the picture taker!!!
