Hello Everyone! I am Isha from Switzerland, where I live with my husband and 2 girls. I have been crafting for a bit more than 5 years now and just love creating. I am so excited and honored to be joining the Memory Box team. Love their products and how versatile they are 🙂 Thank you Dave for having me here along with all the wonderful creative team.
I hope you enjoyed all the new dies featured during the blitz last week 🙂 It’s still cold here, although spring has started. Now it is time to think about summer…lol And this adorable Jellyfish just wanted to float around!
For my card, I simply sponged the background using various colors of distress inks. Once I was satisfied with how it looked, I flicked some water and perfect pearl spray. This gives added dimension and a subtle sheen. I then die-cut the Jellyfishes using watercolor paper and colored them using zig clean color markers. Then, I flicked some white paint mixed with water onto them and let it dry.
I then adhered them to the background layer using some 3D foam of various thickness, to create some dimension. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and embossed the sentiment and cut a strip.
Finally, I adhered the finished panel to a white cardbase.

Pretty and fun – the die is great as the “curled” tentacles look like they are moving. Your splattering also makes me think of the water moving. Love it!
