Hello and Welcome! Spring is here and slowly we are going towards summer…well!!! we do have some snow this week 🙂 A perfect April weather for April. We had sun, snow, rain and wind all in one week.
Anyhow!!! There are some butterflies fluttering by too and I love them, so wanted to create this card using the Butterfly Spectacle and Potenza Butterfly Trio dies.
To create this card, I first created the sky background using vellum. I sponged Sail Boat Blue alcohol ink onto the vellum and let it dry. I then die-cut the white layer using Butterfly Spectacle to create a window. I adhered the sky background behind this window. Love the soft effect.
I then die-cut the butterflies using the Potenza Butterfly Trio die. I colored them using Zig Clean Color real brush markers and applied some zig clear shimmer over them. I stamped the sentiment and then adhered the butterflies onto the mat layer.
I then adhered the mat layer to a light grey cardstock.
