Hello!
Summer is so close, and all of those fun activities will be happening soon! I am excited! One of my family’s favorite things to do is go fishing, so I couldn’t resist playing around with the adorable Fish Tales stamp set. Using some watercolors, and a stamping tool, I was able to create a fun background for this colorful birthday card.

I started by taking all of the fish, and and laying them out over my panel. I then picked them up with the door of my stamp tool, and inked it up with black ink. I cleaned them really well, and did the same thing for the other portion of the panel. I then filled in the spaces with some of the fish.

For the coloring, I used Gansi Tambi Watercolors from Kuretake. These are really creamy, and pigmented! I did several layers to get a bit of depth. After the fish were dried, I added a light blue pigment around them. I then added a touch of white gel pen to a select number of fish.

For the sentiment, I white heat embossed on black card stock, and trimmed it down, adhering it to the panel with foam tape. I then adhered several black sequins.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Enjoy your week!
