Hello everyone,
Today I have a card featuring one of the new stamp sets in the summer release. These birds are so much fun to watercolor!
To create the card I stamped and die cut the birds from watercolor paper and painted them using watercolors.
For the card front I painted a background on watercolor paper for the birds to rest on. Once the paper was dry, I stamped the diamonds using gold ink and the sentiment was stamped in black ink. I spattered the background with paint.
To finish the card I glued the watercolored card front to a Licorice cardstock layer which is adhered to a white card base. I used foam tape to glue the birds to the card front and a few epoxy dots to finish off the card.

I’m loving these cute sparrows and how different they look when coloured in different colours , it makes me wonder how colourful the world would be if our house ,tree and hedge sparrows were the colours the DT have been using.
