Welcome to Day Two of the Halloween Blog Blitz! If you missed Laura’s introductory post yesterday, just scroll down to see her cute Halloween scene. As we highlight the latest Memory Box release this week September 18-22 there will be lots of new ideas shared by the Design Team and chances to win prizes each day.
How many of the newest dies can one use on a card? It turns out that one can use quite a few!

Today’s Halloween scene incorporates five of the dies from the 2017 Fall Collection:: CIRCLE WEB COLLAGE 99881, PLAYFUL BOO 99875, CURVED STITCHED HILLTOPS 99871, CURVED PICKET FENCE 99878, and HOUSE TRIO 99877!!!!! (Plus a circle from the Studio Circle Layers ! and a 1″ punch.)

I made the web first by cutting the Circle Web Collage from black cardstock and then trimmed it down using one of the dies from the Studio Circle Layers die set 30016. I then cut the Playful Boo from silver paper and adhered it to the center of the web using a glue pen.
Next I cut the largest of the Curved Stitched Hilltops from brown striped paper. I cut the Curved Picket Fence twice, once from white cardstock and again from black cardstock; and I glued them together with the black on top and just a smidgen of the white showing on the edges of the fence posts before gluing it to the hilltop.
Then I made the little House Trio. I cut them from black cardstock first. I ran the die through my Big Shot again using gold cardstock and the plate stack for embossing metal stencils. I used my detail scissors to cut out the embossed houses, trimming just a tad off each one (so the gold wouldn’t show under the house edges) before assembling the houses on top. I decided to leave the doors off so more of the gold “light” would show.
To put it all together, I first adhered the hilltop/fence to the bottom of a Jack O’ Lantern notecard. I tucked the houses just a little bit behind the hilltop. I used a foam pop dot to secure the web in the upper right. And then I added a moon from the same gold cardstock, using a 1″ circle punch.

Wow Anne so many dies and all fab for Halloween such a pity we don’t celebrate more in the UK all seem to have copied from the USa is the trick or treat bit and quite often the children aren’t dressed up even under warm coats the token gesture is a Halloween pumpkin bucket in which to collect treats so sad really but I do love your card.
The web over the houses is really inspiring! Very cute all around for a boo- time card.
There is a oomph factor in this creative design with amazing array of dies, love it totally!
