Good morning everyone!
We’re getting close to Christmas! I love making cards this time of year with the wonderful dies and stamps from Memory Box which are so inspiring. For today’s card I couldn’t resist using the cute “Build a Snowman” die set.

To make this card I used texture paste and the Snowflake stencil to create the background of the card front. Once the texture paste dried, I glued the card front to a red cardstock mat and glued that to a white card base.
I die cut all the card elements from watercolor paper and used distress inks to color them. For the fur on the snowman’s hat and the snow in the background I used a Snow Writer, which puffs up once it is heated with a heat tool. I assembled the snowman and then adhered him to the snowglobe. Once the snowglobe was assembled I added the snow to the background.

Before I glued the snowglobe to the card front, I tied twine around it and embellished it with a bow and bell.
To finish the card I glued a snowflake to the top right of the snowglobe.
Thanks for stopping by today!

I have enjoyed looking at this cute snowman, it has a tiny bit of somberness to it, maybe it’s the lighting but it is very interesting. Not all Christmases are cheerful and this would also make a good ‘thinking of you’ card. Thanks for showing!
so adorable!
I love him! Great directions I can use for other cards.
