Sending my love
by Donna Sledzik

Hi everyone,

Welcome a final bonus day of our Blog Blitz!  I hope you've enjoyed all the creative posts using the latest Memory Box products.  Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so I hope to inspire you to create a cute card for that special someone.

For my card today I wanted to use this cute seal, so that was my starting point.  I die cut him from gray cardstock and inked the edges with Hickory Smoke distress ink.  To have the facial features show up I glued a piece of black cardstock on the back of the die cut.

Next I die cut the Stitched Heart Frame and the Heart Frame from silver glitter paper. I only used the heart cut outs from the die cuts and saved the other parts for another project.  I die cut the Stitched Heart Frame once again using white cardstock and only used the frame portion for this project.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment on black cardstock.  Now that all the components of my card are done it is time to create the background.

I sponged Candied Apple distress ink onto white cardstock and misted it with plain water.  Once this is dry I spattered the background with black ink.

Adhere all the die cuts to the card front as shown.  I used foam tape to glue the seal and the sentiment onto the card.

To finish the card I glued the card front to a black card layer which was then adhered to a white card base.
