Happy Friday! I love that the challenge this month is all about one of my favorite things, washi tape. I have built up a large stash over the years so I decided to break some of it out for my card today.

I knew I wanted to use the Crystal Snowflakes on my card so when I went to my washi tape drawer I kept that in mind. I picked some silver, blue, teal and black tapes, some with glitter and some without to use on my background. I cut out a piece of white paper and started in the top corner with my tapes on a diagonal and secured them next to each other, filling in colors and patterns as I liked. It was so much fun and made me want to make more use of my tapes.

I kept the bottom portion of the cardstock without tape so I would have room to stamp my sentiment from the Typewriter Holiday Sentiments set. This stamp set is so great and I have already gotten a ton of use out of it, so many great sayings! I glued three of the snowflakes that I die cut in white and covered with a Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen. I added some clear gems on the snowflakes to make them sparkle a little more to finish off the card.
Thanks for stopping by the blog! I hope you pull out some tape and enter the challenge this month that was posted on the 1st!
