Woodland Deer Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Fall is in the air for us and I simply love fall. The colors are amazing and the feel of the fresh crisp air. What do you like about fall?

So, for my card today, I decided to create a sponged background and used the Woodland Bridge Frame die from the new Holiday collection. This die set has adorable deer, frame and bridge dies.

To start, I created a top folding Kraft cardbase. I then die-cut the outer frame 4 times using the same Kraft cardstock and stacked it together to create a dimensional frame.

Now I took a white mat layer to create the background. I sponged various distress inks for a fall sky effect. I then flicked some water for additional texture.

Now, I die-cut the inside frame and the deer using black cardstock and adhered it to the background piece. I adhered this piece to the cardbase and then added the frame we created earlier. The stitched details in the frame gives this CAS card some more texture.

I like to keep some seasonal cards without the sentiments, so I can use them whenever needed. This die I feel is great for such cards.

Here is a close up.

Hope you got inspired from today's card. Have a wonderful crafty day!
