Cool Cats Get Together by the Cottage Garden Gate

I've been working on ideas for using the TOGETHER JOURNAL SCRIPT die on a Christmas card.  I decided that I wanted to create a scene featuring two of the COOL CAT 94087, the COTTAGE GARDEN GATE 94082, and the TOGETHER JOURNAL SCRIPT 94096 as the sentiment.  I chose a Powder Notecard and used a dotted embossing folder to add some texture to the front.  And I framed the scene using the outermost part of the ELEGANT HOLLY DOUBLE FRAME 94018.

• I die cut the elegant Holly Double Frame from heavy white cardstock and secured the outermost frame to the notecard using a glue pen.
• I also cut the Cottage Garden Gate from the same white cardstock and popped it up with tiny foam adhesive squares inside the frame.
• I cut two of the Cool Cats, one from Cranberry Gingham paper and one from Cranberry Distressed Dots paper.  I added tiny pieces of green cardstock for their eyes.  I used pop dots to add the cats to the scene in front of the gate.
•  I used the same green paper for the Together Journal Script which I placed above the frame.
• The gate needed something more, so I die cut the POINSETTIA CIRCLE FRAME 94081 from more of the green cardstock.  I snipped off several of the poinsettias and layered them with the die's center pieces to create a wreath of sorts.  I added a sparkly red gem and used glue dots to hold it to the gate.

This will be the perfect card for a couple who are able to spend this holiday together.
