Love Always
by Donna Sledzik

Hello everyone,

Today I have a card for you which features several new products as well as a previous one.

To create this card I adhered strips of painters tape to watercolor paper and then randomly stamped the heart images on the exposed paper.  I inked the stamps with Versa Mark Ink and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder.

Next I watercolored the images and once the paint was dry I removed the tape.

I glued strips of gold washi tape to the center of the blank stripes and then spattered the whole piece with gold ink.

I inked the heart image and the sentiment with Versa Mark Ink and stamped them on watercolor paper. Then I heat embossed them using gold embossing power.

I watercolored and die cut the heart image, then trimmed the sentiment and used foam tape to glue them to the card front.

To finish the card I adhered the card front to a white card base.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!

  1. Love your technique to get so much depth! And then the simple washi tape elevates the card, along with the white embossing. It appears to b a 5 x 7 card, is it? I love the bigger sized cards. Thank you!

  2. Such a lovey card! I will be trying your design idea with lots of other stamps & dies….thanks for sharing.
