Sparkle

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a great 4th! My card for today has a 4th of July theme since the festivities will carry over into the weekend.

To make this card I used a Gelli Plate to create my background.  I die cut the Starry Circle from white cardstock and used it as a stencil.  I placed it on my Gelli Plate and used a white Uni Posca paint pen to fill in the stars.  

I moved my stencil around the plate and also hand drew some stars to fill in the background.  I let those dry and then spattered the background with gold ink and let that dry.

I then brayed a thin coat of blue acrylic paint over the top of the plate and placed a piece of white cardstock on top of it.  I pressed the paper down with my fingers to make the print.

I trimmed the paper and adhered it to a white cardbase with foam tape.

Next, I sponged white cardstock with Candied Apple Distress ind and die cut the Scribble Flower Background.  From white cardstock I die cut the Scribble Flower Outline and glued those to the flower backgrounds.  I hand cut the flower stems from white cardstock and glued them to the back of the flowers.  

I glued the largest flower to the card front and adhered the other 2 flowers with foam tape.

The work sparkle was cut from white cardstock and glued to a strip of black cardstock.  Then I used foam tape to adhere it to the card.

I stamped best wishes and glued that to the card under the word sparkle, and that's it!
