Greetings friends. I wanted to share a card I made by airbrushing an oval onto white cardstock. I wanted my oval to work as a frame for my leaf diecuts.
To make the card, I placed my oval stencil on top of white cardstock and airbrushed it with a blue Copic marker:
To add a bit of dimension, I airbrushed green Copic marker around the edges. I went a little heavier with the green than planned, but you can still see that there are two colors:
Although I airbrushed both parts, you could also ink your masked oval. Start at the edge of the oval with your inked sponge and color towards the center of the oval. It is important to work from the outside edges of the stencil to the center so that you don’t get ink under the stencil.
To finish the card, I added my dies and sentiment and used some thin washi tape to edge my white cardstock. I liked the metallic detail of the washi tape.
