Michelle here! Sharing a card for Valentine’s Day or if you’re feeling love in general {lol}. I totally love any word die and glittery paper!!! And, I have a little tip to share with you.

If you’re like me, you probably fell for one of those computerized cutting machines. Well, I have a ton of glitter vinyl paper that is useless because I no longer use that machine! If you adhere a piece of the glitter vinyl paper to regular cardstock it cuts perfectly with your word dies!!!!
I inked up my background with Drifting Hearts Stencil and distress oxide inks in shades dried marigold, ripe persimmon, and picked raspberry. I splattered some gold and black paint and set aside to dry. I die cut some flowers using Single Rose Stem craft die and Single Daisy Stem craft die. I used the same distress oxide inks to color the background of the flowers.

I embossed the sentiment from the stamp set Big and Little Valentines in gold embossing powder. I trimmed the cardstock and layered all the die cuts and a piece of gold tread onto the stenciled background. I embellished with some clear stickles glitter glue and some pink gems.
I hope you give this a try! Enjoy the rest of your week!

Lovely ombre background paired with these florals, the touch of glitz is just perfect!
That is such a fun and “happy” card! Enjoyed your comment about “falling for” one of the cutting machines. I never did, but certainly thought about it…LOL!
