Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Today I have a card for you that could be something other than a St. Patty’s Day card. I have several birthdays in March and this card could easily be used for all of them.
To create this card I used apiece of Yupo paper to make an alcohol inked background for my shamrock to sit on.
I only used a few colors to create a very subtle color scheme for my card.
I used the new glitter paper to cut 3 hearts each, from the Double Stitch Loving Heart Die set and the Double Stitch Happy Heart Die set.
I glued some thread to my card background and glued the heart die cuts on top of it. Using the same glitter paper I hand cut a stem for the shamrock and glued it in place on the card.
On a strip of black cardstock, I white embossed my sentiment and used foam adhesive tape to adhere it to the card.
To finish the card I adhered my card front to a black cardstock mat and used foam adhesive tape to glue it to my white card base.
