Using Your Scraps- Glitter Edition
by Laura Fulcher

Greetings friends.  I wanted to use up some of my Memory Box glitter paper scraps, so I thought what better way than to make a birthday card.  After all, everyone needs a little sparkle on their special day.

To make the card, I chose the Cascadia Background Strip because it reminds me of pennants hanging for a party.  When I cut out the die, I first cut it out of a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of white cardstock.  That was the front of my card.  For all the individual sections, I placed my die onto my Big Shot and taped all of piece on top so that I could cut them all at the same time:

Once I cut out all my pieces, I glued them in each of the various sections on the white card.  To finish the card, I cut out the “celebrate” from a piece of purple glitter cardstock and added some glitter dots for decoration:

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

  1. genius! otherwise i’d probably shy away from making a card like this. your technique streamlined everything, thanks to the die.
