Sentiment Background
by Trina Pham

Hello and happy Wednesday!  I have a super easy card to share today made with more products from the fabulous 2021 Spring release.  It was inspired by this month’s Beautiful Backgrounds challenge.  I’m not going to lie, but this went in a slightly different direction than what I had in mind. 😂

I love the posh script line of sentiment dies and thought they would make beautiful sentiment backgrounds.  Each sentiment is made of two pieces die cut from Bristol paper and stacked for dimension.  Arranged and adhered them at an angle onto an A2 sized Bristol panel for a faux dry embossed effect.

To highlight the sentiment further, the back shadow was die cut from the darkest purple Graceful Garden Glitter paper.  The sentiment was then die cut three times from Bristol paper and stacked.   Adhered the whole piece over top one of the background sentiments.  The Sylvan butterfly was die cut from Bristol paper and coloured with a blender brush and Seedless Preserves distress ink.  Adhered the right side of the butterfly off the edge and popped the left side up with mounting tape to finish.

Easy-peasy.  Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day!
