Happy Haunting

Happy Friday everyone!  For today’s card I used the castle stamp and turned it into a Haunted House.  It’s a great way to get the most out of your everyday stamps.

Let’s make the card:

  • Create a blended background on white cardstock using Distress Oxide inks.

  • Lightly spritz with plain water and blot with a dry paper towel.
  • Stamp the castle on white cardstock and color with colored pencils.  Ink the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink, and die cut the image with the coordinating die.
  • Die cut the ghosts and moon from white cardstock and lightly ink the edges with Black Soot Distress ink.  Add a little bit of Mustard Seed Distress ink to the moon.
  • Die cut the gates and tree branches from black cardstock.
  • Stamp and white heat emboss the Happy Haunting on a strip of black cardstock.

  • Glue the moon and the branches to the card.
  • Next, adhere the ghosts and the railings to the back of the haunted house and glue it to the card.
  • Use foam tape to adhere the sentiment under the haunted house.
  • Glue the card front to a black cardstock mat and adhere it to a white card base.
  • Use a thin lined black marker to add cracks to the windows.

That’s it for today! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
