Sending Love Valentine
by Anne Thompson

For the card I made today I repurposed the Contempo Poinsettia and the Pinpoint Daisy plate both from the Holiday 2021 collection to create a Sending Love valentine.

I began to create this card by using white cardstock with the PINPOINT DAISY BACKGROUND 94621.

I then took half of a red notecard and cut into it with the CONTEMPO POINSETTIA die 94607.

I pulled away the right hand cut part.

Then I removed the five petals on that right side.

I chose another red notecard as the base for the card, trimmed the Pinpoint Daisy Background to 4X5.25 and adhered it to the front of the card using Scor-Tape.  Using more Scor-Tape I added the red Contempo Poinsettia panel on top.

In my next step I added five small CLEAR FAIRY DROPS CLD101 to the flower center.

I chose the SENDING LOVE POSH SCRIPT 94543 for the sentiment and cut it from white cardstock and glued it to the notecard.

the finished card:

This was a fun self-challenge to find and repurpose holiday supplies to use for a valentine.  What supplies do you already have on hand that might also be used to create valentines?  This particular design might also be used for a variety of other purposes just by changing the sentiment–hello, thinking of you, thank you, birthday, and more.

Happy Crafting!
