Hello everyone! Today’s card features one of the new dies from the 2022 Valentine’s Day release. I decided to try a mini slimline card for todays project.
Lets make the card:
- I began by cutting a piece of white cardstock, 7″ x 6 “, scored on the 7″ side, at 3 1/2″. The final card size is 3 1/2″ x 6”.
- The background panel is an ink blended background on white cardstock, then dry embossed using a 3D embossing folder.

- Lightly rub over the embossed paper with a gold inkpad and spatter it with gold ink. Adhere the background to the card base.
- Die cut the flower and leaves from white cardstock and use Distress Oxide inks to color them. I used foam tape adhesive to glue the flower to the card front and glued the leaves in place.
- The sentiment was white heat embossed on a black cardstock strip and glued to the card.
To finish the card, I glued some Clear Fairy Drops to the background.
