Happy Monday everyone! I’m back with another card featuring new products from the 2022 Spring release.
I started by using a Gel Plate to create the background for my card. I sprinkled some Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders onto the Gel Plate and misted it with plain water. Next I pressed watercolor color paper onto the Gel Plate to pick up the color. I dried the paper and pressed it again onto the plate to deepen the color. When the background was dry, I placed a stencil over the paper and used a baby wipe to remove some of the color. It’s a very subtle look because the watercolor paper absorbs the ink. Next, I spattered the paper with gold ink.
Next, I die cut the Exquisite Leaf frame from white cardstock and used a blending brush to add a little gold metallic ink the the frame. I glued the frame to the background and adhered it to a kraft card base.
I die cut the shadow from the Happy Birthday die from foil paper and the words from white cardstock. I used foam tape to adhere it to the card front.
To finish the card, I added some Fairy Drops to the card front.
