Create a layered Luxe Peony card to brighten someone’s day – especially a cold almost-winter day! The Berry Red 6×6 Collection has the perfect array of pretty pinks to build a poufy peony. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a simple any-occasion card featuring our newest floral set.
Cut Layered Peony from light, medium and dark shades of pink from the Berry Red Collection. Cut the stem from a Lush Green Collection 6×6. Assemble the flower – the multiple layers create their own natural dimension – you won’t need to decide where and when to use foamtape!
Cut the diagonal plaid – from the Madras Plaid Coral and Green 6×6 – with the medium Stylish Rectangles die.
Cut For You Posh Script from heavy white cardstock and a green Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6×6. Spritz the white background diecut with a light mist of water to soften the cardstock. Pressure-emboss it with the detailed overlay die. This creates a recessed area to contain and adhere the glittered diecut and adds extra dimension.
Attach the diecuts to a pale green notecard – use foamtape for the greeting. Add green Bright Jewels.
