Merry Christmas Card
by Donna Sledzik

Hello everyone!  It’s hard to believe Christmas is almost here!

To make today’s card, I began by die cutting the Aurora Snowflake Frame from white cardstock and adhering it to a white card base.

Next, I die cut the Pine Needle Frame and the one of the Small Poinsettia Layers from green cardstock.  I used Mowed Lawn Distress ink to deepen the color of the green cardstock.  I glued the Pine Needle Frame on top of the Aurora Snowflake background.

The Nested Chickadee was die cut from white, black and kraft cardstock.  I used brown Distress Ink to deepen the color on the wings and add a soft color to the belly of the bird.  I used a orange copic marker to color the beak of the bird.  I assembled the bird and glued it in place on the card.

The Merry Christmas was die cut from red cardstock and then glued to the white cardstock shadow die cut.  I used foam tape to adhere it to the card.

To finish the card, I glued a twine bow to the top left hand corner of the card and glued the green leaves and red fairy crystals on top of the bow.

That’s it for today!  I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
