We're getting ready for a major winter snowstorm so I tucked a Bundled Bird into the Bird's Nest, added some snowflakes, and penned "warm winter wishes" on this note card.
I'm back to using up the rest of my plaid papers. This time I pulled from MADRAS PLAID BLUE AND VIOLET PP1014, WOODSY PLAID PP1018, and JOLLY CHRISTMAS PP1019.
I chose a light plaid from the Madras paper pad for the 4 X 5 1/4 card front panel.
I cut the BIRD'S NEST 94740 from brown and blue plaids in the Woodsy Plaid papers and assembled it using a glue pen.
I cut the bird from two blue Woodsy Plaids and its red plaid accessories from one of the Jolly Christmas papers. I assembled the tiny parts using glue dots.
I added a tiny black gem for the bird's eye, tucked the bird into its nest, and added it to the front of the note card. I then used the SNOW FLURRIES STENCIL 88626 and a white broad Signo Uniball Pen to add some snow dots to the background, the bird, and the nest.
I drew a line with the white pen under the nest and used my Pilot G-2 (05) pen to write "warm winter wishes" in black ink.
