Celebrate a spring birthday with great designs from the new 2024 Gladiola Collection of dies, plaids and prints! Combine them with the solid-core 6×6 sheets from the Greenery and Sunrise Collections – and add a Happy Birthday Greetings Tab and gold gemstones. Cut Sensational Gladiola Stem from a light yellow Sunrise Collection 6×6 and a bright green Greenery Collection 6×6. The die set has 2 stem sections. One stem layer is cut from yellow and includes the background flowers and buds. You won’t have to attach the tiny bud-tops separately! The second layer is cut from green and attached over the yellow layer. Pointy green pieces are added at the top. Petal layers add extra dimension and depth to the blossoms along the stems.
Cut the yellow Gladiola Plaid 6×6 with the 2″ x 3-¼” Wrapped Stitched Rectangle die. Cut an yellow-orange Sunrise Collection 6×6 with the rectangle die too.
Attach the diecuts to a yellow notecard. Add a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings White Tab. The tab set includes 4 each of 10 typefaces – there’s a design for everyone!
Add gold Treasure Chest Fairy Gemstones. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
A little background plaid adds a bit of colorful contrast to floral designs. Colors that coordinate – but aren’t too match-y – let the flowers stand out as the main design element.
