Hello everyone. I have a rustic masculine Christmas card to share today using more products from the 2024 Yuletide collection.
Started with the background again and die cut the Narrow Woodgrain Planks from brown cardstock. Darker brown cardstock was then trimmed to 4×5.25-inches. Covered it with a sheet of double-sided adhesive and attached the planks to cover it. For a spotlight effect, ink blended Gathered Twigs and Black Soot distress inks around the perimeter of the panel.
The candle base and top layers were die cut from white glitter and white mirror paper, respectively. Shading was then added to them using cool grey Copic Sketch markers C00/0/1/2/3. The flames were die cut from alcohol marker friendly paper and colored with Y11/15 yellow Copic Sketch markers. The pine cones were die cut from dark brown and Kraft cardstock, while the pine needles were prepped as described in a previous post HERE. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder on a strip of red Yuletide Plaid paper and a fish tail cut out for something different. Assembled the card onto a white card base then added snow details with a white Posca pen to finish.
