Hi everyone. I have a fall card featuring the Mysterious Mushrooms. I am just enjoying all the fall colors this year and the Winter days release makes it easy to incorporate them into my card making.

Bakground:
Die cut the Narrow Woodgrain from cream mixed media card stock. Adhere the die cuts vertically to a 4”x5 ¼” panel from the same paper. Use Distress Paint in Vintage Photo, Iced Spruce, and Scorched Timber to paint the background. Let dry. Us a brayer to apply a light, uneven coat of Antique Linen to the top of the background. Let dry. Apply a thick layer of Distress Crackle Paint on top. Mine didn’t crackle but it left a nice shiny layer that enhanced the different colors of paint. Apply foam tape and adhere to the burnt orange with gold star pattern paper from the Nutmeg Forest pack, that has been trimmed down to A2 size. Next die but the 3rd largest Fringed Scalloped Frame from heavy white card stock. Ink blend with Distress Oxide Iced Spruce heavy from the outside and lighter to the center. Ink blend with Scorched Timber just around the outside of the die cut. Adhere to the top of the woodgrain panel.

Focal images:
Die cut the ladybug from the Brillant Beetles, Wistful Sparrow, Eucalyptus Bouquet, and Mysterious Mushrooms from heavy white card stock. Ink blend the mushrooms, bird and lady bug using Distress Oxide in Lost Shadows, Crackling Campfire, Lumberjack Plaid, and Age Mahogany. Use a black marker to color the lady bugs legs and to add the spots. For the eucalyptus ink blend using Iced spruce and Scorched Timber. Adhere together using the envelopes as guides. For the mushrooms seal the ink using Distress Matte Medium. Then use a white paint pen to draw in the dots on the mushrooms. Add Glossy Accents to the top of the ladybug and let dry.
Assembly:
Adhere the background to a white side folding A2 size card. Adhere the eucalyptus die cuts. Adhere the mushrooms and bird to the bottom of the leaves. Then the ladybug to one of the leaves. For the sentiment, Trim Happy from a Happy Birthday Foil Greeting Black tab and adhere to the upper right-hand side. Die cut the Happy Fall Posh Script craft die 2x from heavy black card stock and 1x from gold paper from the Vintage Pastel Mirror pad. Trim the word fall from the die cuts and adhere them together to create a stack. Adhere under the Happy tab.
