Welcome spring and celebrate Easter with designs from the 2025 Peony release. The Peony Bud Trio becomes a duo and gains a blossom. Hi, Jean here with a versatile design to create in your favorite colors.
Cut Peony Bud Trio (except the 3 buds) from a dark green 6×6 in the Greenery collection. Cut Gentle Peony Bloom and the Peony Bud Trio buds from pink cardstock. The buds are specially-designed with tiny slotted sections. Tuck the corner of a Post-It note into the slot to mask the top section of each bud and ink just the lower portion of the buds with Brilliance Pearlescent Thyme.
Cut the peony stamens from the chartreuse Rainbow Reflections 6×6. Cut a 3/4″ square of pink cardstock to use as a base upon which to attach the 5 peony petals and the 3-petal piece. Add the remaining pieces.
Cut the 2-3/4″ wide Wrapped Stitch Rectangle from heavy white cardstock (or 2 layers of medium-weight cardstock glued together) for extra background dimension.
Attach Scor-tape to the topside of dark green cardstock and cut the background of the Cheery Happy Easter. Cut the detailed portion of the greeting from white cardstock. Attach the white greeting to the green background. Sprinkle it with detail clear powder and heat-emboss it.
Attach the diecuts to a white A6 card (4-1/2″ x 6-1/4 in . Punch 1/4″ accent circles from the lime green Graceful Garden Glitter Pad sheet. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
