Clean and Simple Holiday Thank You
by Laura Fulcher

Greetings friends.  I don’t know about you, but this time of year I am in need of thank you cards.  I cheat a little and sometimes make combination Christmas/birthday thank you cards (a perk of having a birthday near Christmas), but overall, I find that it is prudent to have a stack on hand.

To make my card, I started with some beautiful plaid paper from the Dashing Holiday pack and then added my white circle and white die cut letters.  I thought that my snowflakes would get lost in the design if they were also in white paper, so I cut them out of silver metallic cardstock.  Unfortunately, the metallic paper didn’t have enough sheen and sparkle to it, so I thought I should help it along by adding some Stickles.

I placed my snowflakes onto a non-stick sheet and painted them with some sparkly glitter glue.  It took a bit of time for them to dry, but I knew it would make less of a mess if I added my sparkle and then added my dried glittery snowflakes to the card:

Here is a closeup of the finished glittered elements:

Good luck finishing up any remaining holiday cards and think about having a few thank you cards on hand.  You just might need them!
